Introduction
Career development is a long process that one undertakes in their lifetime. The process
involves learning, working, enjoying time off, and progressing in one’s career (Peila-Shuster and
Osborn, 2013). The process of developing a career is usually a difficult one and involves ups and
downs in most cases. Sometimes one may get a promotion only to get demoted later. With proper
planning and setting clear goals, the process can be eased and difficulties minimized (PeilaShuster and Osborn, 2013). Schools and some organizations do a good job in helping people
build lifelong careers (Peila-Shuster and Osborn, 2013). Healthcare Administration is a career
that is growing fast and as a professional in that area, I plan to build a lifelong career by
leveraging on my strengths and improving on my weaknesses. This paper discusses how I plan to
