Create a work breakdown structure (WBS) I uploaded the file this assignment will be on

Use Microsoft® Project to list the components and breakdown of the project's WBS (i.e. project phases, grouping of tasks, resource assignments, etc.).

The work breakdown structure (WBS) is the result of a clearly defined scope document, and is a detailed picture of all the work that must be done to deliver this project. This part of the plan aligns each package of related work items to the necessary time, financial, and human resources needed. This is usually a hierarchical diagram formatted into Microsoft® Project because this application allows time and resources to be linked to the accomplishment of certain tasks. As part of the WBS

1 Project Proposal Snooky Calambro, Susan Lyon, Tony Ripke, Victoria Durlin, Victoria Hernandez, William Hartley Project Proposal In this proposal, we will elaborate on the implementation of this project and how it will impact ProjectnX. It will discuss the steps needed to have the project implemented correctly 2 which will include; discussing resources required, development of the team, and management’s role. After reading this proposal ProjectnX and its stakeholders should fully understand how this project will benefit the company. Project Overview ProjectnX asked us to help upgrade their technology to help them run their business better and better protect their work patent information. Thanks to our internal and external resources we were able to upgrade their systems and set them up with a full time IT team to help them with any problems that arise in the future. The team works with the higher management in identifying problem area in the business and working on plans to fix them. This will be a longterm project that will be looked at for renewing at the end of each year. Stakeholders and Their Benefits The entire Cyber Security Up-grade project will play a major factor on the entire company’s technical infrastructure pertaining to communication and system reporting software. Every department and every staff member in the company will be impacted. This up-grade will benefit the company and every staff member by addressing both regulatory and internal policy compliance. The up-grade will also benefit the company with faster detection and remediation of systems cyber threats and reduction of internal fraud. The last and the most critical benefit to the company and all staff will be the reduction of internal fraud and reduction in data theft and data leakage! When looking at the level of complexity and time management for this project, all company departments and all staff will be impacted by the Cyber Security Up-grade, starting with all executive and managerial staff. Included will be regular and part-time employees, all field reps and security personal. 3 Resource Requirements The resources are required to be able to carry out project task. It can be people, equipment, facilities, funding, and anything else that is capable of the definitions other than the labors that are required to complete the project activity. If there is a lack of resources there will be a constraint on the completion of the project activity. Resources can be storable or nonstorable. The storable resources will remain available unless depleted by the usage, and they may replenish by the project task that will produce them. A non-storable resource has to be renewed for all the time periods even if it is not utilized in a previous time period. Assembly, Development, and Manage of Project Team Basically, the development of technology in the recent past is of great benefit to the company. The technology is useful in a number of factors including ensuring that processes are completed on time. However, the most important part of the development is on the use of firewalls and the protections against virus and other unauthorized access to the information. The modern-day technology is prone to risks of information theft and cybercrimes which can only be prevented using the above protective technologies. The protection against this access is required not only at the management level but also to the lower staff levels. The protection will ensure there is information integrity and that the employer is not affected by dubious activities (Roy-Chowdhury, et.al, 2017. While the technology can be outdated, it will be always necessary to update it from time to time with the aim of ensuring that the company remains smart. Without such update, the company can be prone to different kind of risks which can lead to a collapse of the operations. Importance of Project Sponsorship and Leadership 4 The project sponsor is an executive who takes the lead and assumes much of the accountability for the project in regards to execution and completion. The project lead or sponsor ensures that the project distributes previously agreed upon business reimbursements and takes on the role of executive of the organization, thus, lending a vital role throughout the process by Providing things such as business perspective, expertise, and direction, working hand and hand with the project manager team. The sponsor of the project typically manages aspects such as marketing and organizing in order to ensure the correct funding for the project, Acts as an escalation point for decisions and issues that are beyond the authority of the project manager. Being able to maintain communication with team members, customers, and other stakeholders. Furthermore, the sponsor will be the liaison between the project, the business community, and strategic level decisionmaking groups (Schibi, Ori | Lee, Cheryl October 2015). Conclusion From this project proposal, ProjectnX can see how updating the company’s technology to include a stronger security system will allow the company itself to operate in confidence. Support through an IT department and an experienced sponsor will further allow the project to be implemented and have long-term success. Reference Roy-Chowdhury, R., Sebes, E. J., & Vaishnav, J.
