Causes and Strategies for Addressing and Managing the Misbehavior
There are five likely causes of classroom disturbance that are exhibited by different
students in varying magnitudes. First, some students misbehave as a way of seeking attention.
This might happen if a student has ever misbehaved again and rewarded for their behavior. Some
of the students with this kind of behavior are likely to act out by making fun of the others or
simply been uncooperative (Polirstok, 2015). This cause can be managed by the teacher
implementing the appropriate sanctions according to the school's policy to help tame the
behavior or else if the student continues with the behavior, the teacher can involve the parents to
help in establishing the cause of the behavior so that the appropriate approach can be applied.
Second, according to Polirstok (2015), psychological factors are also a cause as well.
The psychological factors come up when a student's needs are not met regularly and cause a
student to feel ill, bored, hungry or sleepy. At this point, a student is likely to misbehave by
behavior without blaming them for their bad behavior as well as removing the student from the
classroom in the instances where they throw tantrum or cry anyhow.
Third, it is classroom environment which involves the classroom design for optimal
learning and one that will make a student feel safe as it feels when they are in their homes. This
