The art works that were creating during the Baroque and Renaissance period were
similar and different in the context of variances. The Renaissance period of art began its
creation during the 1400s. this period marked a transition that occurred between the
medieval times and the earlier modern times (Arts, Artists, Artwork, n.d.). However, the
Baroque era soon followed in the 1600s and in this period, was another creation and
transformation when the churches began dividing between the Catholics and the
Protestants. Many artists became familiar with Renaissance artists like Michelangelo and
Leonardo da Vinci.
