Bilingualism is defined by the ability of an individual to understand and express
themselves in two different languages. It’s an ability that allows one to interchange language use
depending on the opportunities present to use either language individually. It is not a singular
process but rather a dynamic one that spans across some domains for the individual. Bilingual is
unique to each due to the difficulty to interchange meaning and express oneself fluently. It even
more characteristic when it entails a child below the age of 3 years. The fact that their brains can
differentiate between different syllables, wording, and pronunciation and still be able to
distinguish meaning and the context of the message in different language show much-developed
brain capacity. Bilingualism is a growing phenomenon that is characteristic of an improving
human brain and a sign of intellectual prowess of the future generation. Bilingualism confers
numerous advantages to those individuals able, from a young age, to grasp different languages,
understand them, express oneself, and relate comfortably using them interchangeably.
Bilingualism helps in the understanding of the human race and the continuing intellectual growth
that has characterized the modern age, while at the same time providing hope in the future

of different languages. The unique aspect of multilingualism is the infinite understanding
