Information about an African-American leader from 1600-1800 period
Question Description
This course deals with the first half of African-American History, from the early colonial period to the end of Reconstruction. While many students are familiar with 20th century black leaders such as W.E.B. DuBois, Rosa Parks, Martin Luther King Jr., and Malcolm X, most student know far less about early African-American leaders. For this post, find information about a significant African-American leader from the period of 1600-1880 and describe to the class what that person did, and why you find them so interesting. Do NOT write on a person who someone else in the class has already written on.
