Q1. In regard to recruiting, discuss organizational attractiveness relative to reputation
and brand recognition. Please provide an example by exploring an organization you
would like to work for (not a current employer) and why you would like to work for this
organization. Support your perspective and reasoning with at least two academic
references.
For an organization to be attractive it needs to have both a good reputation and brand
recognition. This will greatly affect how they recruit their employees in terms of the
standards that will be set for qualification. Such organizations will recruit very talented and

Issues like misappropriation of funds should be alien to it (Phillips & Gully, 2015).
A good reputation is also brought about by good management and reliability. A
company should be able to maintain consistency in terms of the services they offer. The
quality of goods and services offered should also be top notch. In terms of brand recognition,
a company should make sure that its products are known by people. This increases the
number of customers and enhances trust (Parízek, 2016). The organization I would like to
work for is Macy's. Macy's is a men's and women's clothing store that is known
internationally. I would like to work here because Macy's treats its employees well and
provides a good working environment. It has also been able to maintain financial stability for
a long time. Customers prefer it because it is able to meet their specific needs by customizing
