In marketing, each party involved in the transaction, bring expectations that are in regards
to the business existence relationship. If a customer for example wishes to make retail purchase,
their expectation will involve wanting the salesperson treat them fairly and want pay reasonable
price.

The ethical marketing efforts and decisions should suit and meet suppliers, customers,
and business partner’s needs. Some unethical behaviors such as deceptive marketing, selective
advertising and price wars can in the process negatively impact on a company relationship.

Customers nowadays prefer ethical companies from recent trends. In the process ethics
by its own has been a selling point or in most cases it has been considered as a corporate image
component.

Research question

How can use of social and other digital media, to both, generate new insights about its
customers and competitors? It focuses on Boost Mobile, which I consider should adopt the new
social and digital media as its marketing strategy from an improvement on its sales (Baltessen,
2012, October 11).

Background research

Internet advent and its interactive features in particular, in the recent years have led to
customer engagement explosion interest. The opportunities that have been presented by social
media, towards helping building closer relationships with customers are in a wide variety seemed

There has been no improvement in sells at Boost Mobile due to the poor marketing
strategy in place. It has been evident to the organization utilizing this mode of marketing. The
Organization is not performing well as its competitors, because of their current marketing mode

Preliminary thoughts about research design

Research design is the overall strategy that one chooses so as to integrate a study
different component in a logical and coherent way, so as to ensure the research problem has
effectively been addressed. Research design blueprint constitutes data collection, measurement
and analysis. The research problem will determine the type of design to be used and the other
way round (Creswell, 2013).

Considering that the main function of a research design is to ensure evidence obtained
