Question description

A good editor often pays close attention to detail, practices
patience and self-discipline, demonstrates good organization, and seeks to
correct issues in content without losing the original intent of the work. Select
two qualities of an editor that are likely to prove important to your editorial
work in this course and explain why they will be instrumental in improving the
quality of your written work as you go forward.

Initial posts must be 200 to 300 words in length and posted by
Day 3. Respond to at least two of your classmates’ posts. In your response,
indicate what you have learned from your classmates’ answers and share how their
responses have improved your understanding of the importance of editing as you
work through your final drafts this week. Be specific in your responses.
Response posts must be 125 to 200 words in length and posted by Day 7. If you
have questions about how to participate in discussions, consult “About
Discussions” under the Course Home menu.  You are not required to support your
claims with additional scholarly materials; however, should you decide to use
additional sources, make sure you properly cite any references.
