THEIR COLONIAL ACTIVITY
Introduction
In 1467, John Cabot, explorative voyager established the dawn of European claims of
administrative territories in American. John Cabot was an Italian Sailor, and sea captain
commissioned to sail and explore the Newfoundland under the arrangement of England King
Henry VII. European people were not aware of the people and land existing on the western
shores of Atlantic. This was until the late 1400s when Christopher Columbus (1451-1506) set
sail for the exploration of the western coastlines of the Atlantic. With this knowledge, the
people of Europe during the late 1500s prepared to set sail across the Atlantic. This voyage
exploration was made possible by several factors.
