Sexual harassment in the workplace under the law is a serious offense. It is a violation of
a person’s integrity and wellbeing (Karime at. al, p224-231). Under the law, it is the
responsibility of any employee that faces such kind of harassment to report the issue to the
management so that the offender can be brought to justice. As the head of the department,
working as a professional with good work ethics is a requirement. Since the event was
unreported, the best way to handle the scenario is to consult the employer policy that has a clause
dealing with sexual harassment and report the issue to the management of the company for an
