1. Zoroastrianism heavily influenced the great monotheistic religions, such as Judaism, Christianity, and Islam. All three religions believe in the existence of only one God, which is one of the main principles in Zoroastrianism. Zoroastrianism, Christianity, Judaism, and Islam also all share the characteristic of having holy scripture; in Christianity it is the Bible, in Judaism it’s the Torah, and in Islam it is the Qur’an. They also all believe in prophets who spread the word of God on earth. Judaism, Christianity, and Islam all believe in Abraham as being the first prophet of God and it is one of the main things these three religions have in common. I don’t think that understanding Zoroastrianism would help give insight and more knowledge to better understand a specific monotheistic religion. I think it could definitely help explain where the basic religious principles come from, but I don’t think that it would help someone know more about their own religion. This is due to the fact that if they belong to a specific religion, they most likely know about the principles and doctrines they follow, and the Zoroastrian principles wouldn’t really have an effect on their knowledge. It could, however, show the connections between all three of these monotheistic religions and provide them with knowledge on other religions and show what they have in common with other belief systems. This could be helpful at bridging the gap between people and promoting understanding and acceptance across different cultures. A. I think that the communal celebration of Passover is extremely significant, especially to those who practice Judaism. I believe this because I think that it’s important to recognize and celebrate the significant events in a religion/culture. In Judaism, Passover celebrates and remembers the liberation of the Jews from slavery in Egypt and their freedom as a nation. I believe that back in the day that this event occurred, the Jews rejoiced and were ecstatic. Therefore, the remembrance of Passover by celebrating an annual festive dinner is appropriate and very significant, and I believe it is something people of the Jewish faith should definitely celebrate. 2. Being 'Jewish' is a cultural and religious identity, but not an ethnic identity. This is because one who is Jewish will identify with others who believe the same ideals as them and have similar cultural practices as them as other Jewish people do. However, because Judaism is a faith and can be chosen by anyone to follow, it does not fit a description of an 'ethnicity' because the followers of it do not have to have the same ethnic background. Therefore, there could be Jews from Africa, Asia, Europe, and Canada that all identify as Jewish in a religious and cultural meaning but not in an ethnic one. A major concept of Judaism that is often overlooked is that of the 'chosen people' in which Jews believe that they are. They believe that they have a special relationship with God and Abraham because of their belief that they are essentially the direct descendants of them. This ideal has brought a sense of closeness to the Jewish community in that it provides a common ground for all followers but has also seemed to create some hostility of other religions towards Judaism because of the fact that, due to this ideal, they tend to think higher of themselves. B. Moses' most significant teaching is that of 'God is all-knowing' in itself it is the epitome of monotheistic religions. No matter what religion you study 'God' is one who is looked up to for wisdom, advice, help, guidance, you name it. Now, if there is one being that has all the answers to any and all questions they of course must be all-knowing. My question is how and I know that no one can answer my question because I would essentially be questioning faith. With religion comes faith and without faith religion is meaningless. To understand and accept that God is actually all-knowing one must first believe that he is. Explanation & Answer

Here you go! Let me know if you need anything changed :D

The paper provides a thorough explanation of the cultural aspect of the Jewish identity. Contrary
to popular belief, being Jewish is not always a matter of descendance. The Jewish community can
span across races and across continents, as any person can decide to accept the faith. It should be
mentioned, though, that there is some ethnic component in the identity. For example, when one
considers anti-semitic propaganda, Jews are often portrayed in a way that is meant to separate them
physically from white Europeans. Now, a white European could certainly also be Jewish, but they
are not the immediate association. Though ethnicity does not determine whether someone is Jewish
or not, an ethnic component can still be visible in popular representations of those who are and it
should receive s...
