Nutrition education seems to be lacking and yet the human body needs to be built by
eating healthy and nutritious foods to enhance immunity and to give the body the energy to
perform tasks. The article on nutrition: ethical issues and challenges identify the challenges that
revolve around people on the issue of nutrition. Some health conditions have been experienced
due to the lack of taking nutritious foods because of the various restrictions. Such restrictions are
based on their religious beliefs, culture, and customs as well holistic trends. Some of the
religious aspects such as fasting or exclusion of certain foods from their diet such as beef or how
the foods are prepared, deprive them of consuming essential foods.
