Application Assignment 3 Consider the research problem that you selected for your research project, conduct a search for scholarly articles that are related to the problem. Find five scholarly articles (including the articles that reviewed in week 2) that you are interested in and provide a direct quotation with citation for each of the articles’ (studies’) problem statements. Which of the five problem statements do you think is best written? Which problem statement is written the poorest? How does the writing of the research problem statement reflect on the findings of the study? Your response for this application assignment should be 500-1000 words in length. Project Assignment 3 This is the third research project assignment for this course (NOTE: The research project builds on itself each week and will culminate with your final research proposal submission during Week 7). Ensure you use the same research project topic that you used for last week’s submission. Note: This project assignment is an exercise to help you do your own proposal writing by reviewing what others have done. So read the selected articles carefully and complete the exercise. Project Assignment 3: Write a literature review for your study. See pages 70-73 in your textbook for an example of a literature review (Chapter 3). Your literature review should provide both analysis and synthesis of previous studies as related to the research problem and question that you developed for your proposal. Your literature review should be 3-4 pages long and includes at least 5 different scholarly references with as many in-text citations as necessary in order to properly cite your work. Note: The main purpose of the review of the literature is to: show how your study is related to, and extends, other work in the area. A well-structured literature review begins with broad/general information, then narrows the focus to those studies most closely related to the research problem. A well-written literature review emphasizes critique and synthesis of the work of others that is related to your own research problem.

Problem statement
Basically every research made originates with a question or a problem in it. The universe is filled
with unanswered questions and unresolved problems. And by giving out questions to people we
get to spark igniting a chain reaction that leads to the research process. An inquisitive mind
needs to know the happening around us. Research requires clear articulation of a goal in that a
clear, unambiguous statement of the problem is considered crucial. This kind of statement is
considered as an activity in intellectual honesty. Additionally the ultimate goal of the research

design of your strategy. From a different perceptive it is barely helpful to break a main research
problems into subproblems that when solve will solve the main problem. The principle goals is
to get from one research method to the other hence you get to figure out the problems involved
other subproblems such as:
➢ How far did you go on with the research method
➢ Who would have the research method benefit
➢ What are some of the requirements during the research method

➢ When does the Research method take place

Basically it is most with the research problem. By closely inspecting the principle
problems the researchers often talks on the main problem within the major problem.
