The slave trade, popularly referred to as transatlantic slave trade involved forceful
migration of people from Africa to the Western Hemisphere in the fifteenth century to the early
ninetieth century. The trade involved a triangular route which was formed by Europe, African,
America, and back to Europe1. The merchants traded on goods into African in exchange for slaves,
spices, ivory, and gold. The slave was sold in America in exchange for sugar tobacco among
various agricultural products that were transported to Europe. The trafficking of the Africans had
significant impacts on the development of the modern economies in the world. It led to the
emergence of a new concept that was referred to the diaspora. This term was specifically used to
refer to the spread of people especially with African origin into different parts of Americas. This
contributed to the presence of people of African origin in many parts of America such as the
Caribbean, The States, Brazil, and other countries outside Africa2. These people were forcefully
removed from their homelands, where they were later faced with forced labor and general
mistreatment by their masters. Different factors such as a frequent protest by millions of ordinary
people both in the States and Europe led to the abolition of the trade. This term was used to
illustrate the ending of the slave trade and all practices that are involved in enslavement such as
human trafficking. The process was inflated by the millions of Africans who persistently resisted
to be enslaved and become rebellious against their master with an aim of emancipation, which
involved freeing the slaves from all forms of enslavement and trafficking. These factors persuaded
the legislation of laws to abolish these trade. Despite many numerous obstacles, the abolition law
