Introduction
In his book “Arkansas in Modern America 1900-1939,” Ben F Johnson addresses a
plethora of issues worth looking. He begins by revolutionizing the presidency of Frank Roosevelt
and going ahead to make related policies by many other presidents after that. In the modern era,
the book serves good reading purposes for generations to come. The reason for asserting, so
points to the nature of the issues addressed. Despite the fact that the book has majored on the
historical economic activity of the Arkansas people, the evolutionary farming techniques such as
farming in the city get discussed thus soliciting any readers attention to not only the financial
parameters of the book but also the mutual coexistence and many other matters. I particularly
liked the way Johnson brought out the hard work, creativity, and innovativeness by the Arkansas
