The Project Phases?
Experienced project managers confess that the success of any project is hugely dependent
on the five major processes of project management. Running a successful project requires a
particular set of skills and knowledge that is easily achievable through organized project
management processes. Additionally, to achieve all the project objectives and goals, a great
sense of creativity and flexibility is required, and as experienced project managers say, this can
only be achieved through organized and well-coordinated project management processes
(Phillips, 2103). The five main project management processes all play a significant there for

Initiating Process
Firstly, the initiating process plays a crucial role in assisting the project manager in
identifying the required skills. The project manager is able to locate the possible partners and
other requirements such as permits, authorization and the necessary budget for the entire project.
This process is essential for the smooth running of the project as it ensures that all ground rules
are set, the project budget is well estimated and identifies and that the right partners are brought
