Running head: INTERNET MARKETING PRINCIPLES Internet Marketing Principles Emarketing plan/ Start up 1 INTERNET MARKETING PRINCIPLES 2 Kiddie’s world is an organization that would concentrate on the well-being of a child not only in acting as a daycare facility but also one that would concentrate on nurturing the kids’ talents. This organization would take in kids from 2 to 12 years. Its capacity of accommodating the older kids especially during weekends and school holidays would be a great venture. The services offered would allow them to learn from each other in and express themselves freely in an environment full of fun activities. With the guidance of the facilitators, they would get the chance of indulging in activities that would tap their abilities and strengths. This would be a channel of helping them recognize their talents. The parents would also be advised on how to support their kid’s talent using appropriate modes. The main focus of advertising this organization would be marketing it through the internet platform. The internet has become the major mode of giving information because it has a wide audience (Hanson, & Kalyanam, 2007). The first thing would be researching keywords that would identify with our services with the use of Google keywords tools which is a resourceful in coming up with search engine keywords. This would assist the visitors to easily get information about Kiddie’s World. My team would take charge in creating continuous fresh content with great offers to attract the attention of the visitors who might convert to customers. Direct engagement with such customers creates room for inquiries and they are able to understand more about the services. Maintaining contact with the nurtures the customers since they are the firsts to get information on new organized events for the kids which they can also take part. The use of images would be essential too since it would illustrate work in progress of the kids on previous events. These images would be shared in several web pages to attract followers in the social networks. They would be inclusive of inbound links to enhance the credibility of the Kiddie's INTERNET MARKETING PRINCIPLES 3 World web page. It would also create an opportunity of getting partnerships with companies offering toys or creative stationery. Beautiful Kids Day Care has been the closest competitor. However, from research, they neither follow up on the progress of the kids nor connect the parents with experts in certain fields. For instance, they could link up the kids with experts in various fields accordingly such as music, sports, arts, or theatre and film industry so that they can assist in nurturing the kid’s abilities. Otherwise, kids lose interest very fast if they are not supported appropriately. Also, the ratio of the staff to that of the kids is low. You find that one facilitator; takes care of 20 kids which inappropriate because proper attention is not achieved per child. Also, another finding is that they lack enough space where the children can play freely. Yet a kid’s facility should be spacious to accommodate all the activities that are essential in child’s growth (Ginsburg, 2007). Dealing with kids is demanding and it needs passion. Kiddie’s world would factor in some of the issues that are foregone to ensure that quality services are delivered. The value of maintaining customers is costly so, such parents have to be appealed by the environment they are taking their children and the price for the services has to be accommodating. They need a comfort zone where they feel that the services given meet their satisfaction. Such services improve the organization's reputation and the profits garnered promote further marketing. This would attract more people which would be even better because the existing customers would support the information given on the organization's web page. Running head: E-MARKETING PLAN UNIT 4 E-Marketing Plan Unit 4 1 E-MARKETING PLAN UNIT 4 2 Introduction E-marketing has been very useful in the growth of organizations. This approach in marketing has created very many platforms where a potential customer can access and review various products and services. The end result is that many organizations have embraced this approach in marketing. E-Marketing Strategic Plan of Kiddie's Daycare Being an organization that is committed to making the lives of children comfortable, there is no doubt that Kiddie's World will attract a wide range of clients. Parents, guardians, teachers, and newlyweds are some of the people who are likely to be affected by the activities of this organization. This is crucial to sure that people are sensitized to the existence of this organization and most importantly about the activities that this organization deals in (Ginsburg, 2007). Carrying out a situational analysis is critical in identifying the audience that this plan will be directed to. A situational analysis, in this case, will involve evaluating the external and internal needs of Kiddie's organization. Identifying the economic and the social ability that this organization has to influence clients is vital. At the same time, identifying the potential customers of this organization will ensure that the organization is in a position to devise the ways to reach out to their clients. Identifying the business environment, which includes the competitors, the market and the relevant regulations in this business is also very important and will help in molding the future of Kiddie's organization. The feedback from clients and potential clients on various websites will play a major role in identifying the target in our organization. A positioning statement for this organization would be “Beyond nurturing your Kid’s talent”. This statement will speak volumes about our service and help in improving our activities. Creating A good relationship with our customers is also E-MARKETING PLAN UNIT 4 3 very important in growing our organization. Some of the benefits include having loyal customers who trust the services of our organization as well as improving the organizational activities in accordance with the needs of the customers (Ginsburg, 2007). SWOT Analysis of Kiddie's Daycare Carrying out a SWOT analysis is vital especially in ensuring that Kiddie's daycare business takes off and remains profitable amid the existing competition in the market. Some of the strengths of Kiddie's organization include its ability to reach out to very many people using the many platforms that it has used to market its services. This gives it an upper hand over its competitors who are aware of the importance of embracing e-marketing in their organizations. The strength of this organization is the fact that it has enough space to accommodate very many children. This organization understands the importance of offering children ample space to carry out leisure activities. This is, therefore, a strength that this organization could use to gain mileage and to attract more customers. On the other hand, this organization has very many facilitators who have been credited with creating a good relationship with the children. This is however not the case with Beautiful kids daycare which is its main competitor. This is, therefore, an added advantage for Kiddie's daycare. Some of the weaknesses of this organization include financial demands that are needed to realize the goals of this organization. E-marketing is an expensive venture although its returns are often immeasurable in organizations. The inability to maintain consistency in the marketing strategy is also a major weakness for this organization (Hanson & Kalyanam, 2007). Technology and particularly social media offer a great opportunity for this organization to market its services and to increase the number of its customers. The e-marketing strategy that this organization has embraced is only the beginning of more opportunities that will see this E-MARKETING PLAN UNIT 4 4 organization competing favorably with other daycare organizations. Creating a section for older children who would provide mentorship to the younger children as they nurture their talents would also be a great opportunity to grow this organization. Competition is a major threat to this organization. This is given the fact that daycares have become a great business opportunity and many people have therefore ventured into this business. There is, therefore, a possibility that Kiddie's daycare will have to compete tenaciously with other organizations for the limited number of customers. The fact that this organization is improving its services and raising its bar higher than its competitors is, however, a good sign moving forward (Hanson & Kalyanam, 2007). External changes that will affect Kiddie's Daycare External changes that occur in various industries are often beyond the control of the investors. A good example of the external changes that will affect this organization is the change in technology. The improvement in technology means that children will no longer need the services from a daycare. They will, however, stay at home with the aid of technological gadgets that will have the ability to entertain and to comfort these children in the absence of their parents. The economic and political changes that have sought to regulate the daycare business by introducing very many regulations that have to be met also posing a major challenge to this business. Investors will find it difficult to live up to these standards while already existing investors will find it difficult to put to the new standards. The culture of stay-at-home dads and mums who chose to work from home while looking after their children may also affect this organization greatly. This culture will jeopardize the growth of this industry and frustrate all its efforts to grow. E-MARKETING PLAN UNIT 4 5 Conclusion In conclusion, there is no doubt that an e-marketing strategy is what our organization and other organizations out there need to achieve their organizational goals. Identifying the opportunities and potential challenges as well as the target market is also important for an organization. A positioning statement also speaks volumes about the activities of an organization. E-MARKETING PLAN UNIT 4 6 References Hanson, W., & Kalyanam, K. (2007). Principles of Internet marketing.
