Importance of software testing
 Software testing is vital because people are prone to make

mistakes more so in the development of software.
As a result, it is important to test software before releasing it
to the customers.
There are primarily two basics of testing software and these
include Blackbox Testing and Whitebox Testing.
The Blackbox Testing technique ignores the systems internal
mechanisms and mainly focuses on the generated output. It is
also referred to as functional testing. Blackbox Testing is often
employed for validation (Beizer, 2003).
The Whitebox testing techniques on the other hand takes into
consideration the system’s internal mechanism. It is also
referred to as glass box testing. The Whitebox Testing is often
employed for verification (Beizer, 2003).

Importance of software testing

Software testing helps identify defects as well as errors that

Early identification of these errors and defects helps correct them in

2004).
