So much of the said pieces of literature that were written during the 20th century mainly
explores the aspect and ways we as people understand or think we know, both the people and the
world around us. This particular theme is what is elaborated in Virginia Woolf's novel, Jacob's
Room. This particular book was published in 1922, and they are achievements of her third ever
story. Woolf wrote the novel Jacob’s Room primarily as a culmination of the ideas she had first
explored, which took the form of sketch pieces in this short stories (Woolf, 1992).

Jacob's Room is a novel that questions a lot the particular notion we take for granted, and
this is mainly when reading the conventional realist fiction, and this puts the fact that we can
