Psychology: Cheating case

timer Asked: Aug 15th, 2013

Question description

If you are assigned the Cheating case:

1. In your first paragraph, answer the following questions:

Would it make any difference to you if the test grade were not as crucial to Mike's career? Why or why not?

Considering that Mike has a good chance of not being caught, why shouldn't he cheat? What arguments would you give to justify Mike's cheating or not cheating?

My scenario for this week’s discussion is cheating on a history test. In this scenario, Mike has an opportunity to cheat off of another person’s test. This test is extremely important to Mike because he needs a B in history to get into graduate school. Mike’s current grade is somewhere between a B- and a C+.
