Organizational changes are resisted by internal stakeholders because it disrupts the status
quo or the momentum of familiar processes and systems. They are known to distort
organizational patterns and result in the realignment of the resources and sources of power and
control in the organization. Therefore, changes are resisted by the people that manage the
systems and processes because of these reasons. Although all these reasons for resisting
organizational changes are relevant and embedded in the culture and systems of companies, these
