Emotions play a greater role in influencing various processes within the human body. The
functioning of the human body is a well-coordinated process that includes various processes that
are intertwined in the development of key elements such as decision-making, memory, and
attention. When emotions are triggered, the nervous system responds by creating feelings and
certain thought. This means that emotional positioning of an individual highly influences how they
think and perceive information based on the response that has been delivered. Emotions are
designed to inform the decisions that an individual makes based on attention and perception. Every
human being makes decisions based on how they perceive certain actions that are interpreted based
one emotion triggered. Emotions serve a greater purpose on an individual’s body by providing key
information on what to do depending on the circumstances under which the decision has to be
made. This paper provides a detailed analysis of how memory plays a significant role in
influencing memory, attention, and decision-making.
Emotion is a complex state of feeling that has a significant influence on individual’s physical and
psychological changes that influence thought and behavior. Memory is at the center under which
emotions are interpreted and relayed to influence thought and behavior since the human memory
coordinates all processes within the human body that has a greater influence on the overall
environment under which it is possible to create an enabling environment under which it would be
possible to understand important human processes. Attention is based on an individual thought
process. Attention and perception are two critical elements that are effectively described by
individual emotions (Brosch, Scherer, Grandjean, & Sander, 2013).
