preventing the occurrence of any medical condition. SCT can be used to treat various disorders
running from non-serious threats to life-threatening medical conditions. The stem cells used for
treatment can be outsourced from a couple of sources (Aiuti et al., 2002). Gene therapy, on the
other hand, denotes strategies deployed in modifying how an individual’s genes are expressed.
