Baker’s wife is one of the most complex characters in the show, despite the fact that she
comes from a lower class and not educated, she has her own street knowledge of things. She
will stop at nothing to get her child and her aggression and persistence to get what she wants
to lead her to use manipulative ways. Surprisingly, she does not know when she is manipulative
or getting manipulated, after being wooed by the prince and taken advantage of, she later
stands confused wondering what had happened.
In her song Moments in the Woods, she finds some degree of peace with the decision
she makes saying that if life were made from moments, then no one would realize they had
any. She is very frustrated by the husband but she deeply loves him, she later makes the
