Question Description

Please rewrite the following abstract in a more formal and appropriate language:

“In my paper, a summary of evidence I found for the effectiveness of using technology in foreign language (FL) learning and teaching is going to be written by me. Also, I wanna focus on doing an empirical study that compares the newest technologies with older methods and materials. Having looked at more than 350 studies, I got the idea that, even though there are quite a few publications available on the topic of technology use in FL learning and teaching, evidence on efficiency isn’t really that great. However, I think many authors who wrote studies on computer-assisted pronunciation trainings gave their support to the idea that technology has a strong influence on FL learning, especially automatic speech recognition (ASR). These studies showed that ASR can help to make your pronunciation really good and also gives the best feedback. Even more studies supported the use of chat in FL learning. They showed that, with chat, both the amount of learners’ language production and the complexity went way up. Literature in general kind of showed a medium support for the idea that technology helps learners’ output and mingling, affect and motivation, feedback, and metalinguistic knowledge.”

I appreciate for your help.
