Question Description

1.) Which of the following statements results from the second law of thermodynamics?
a. Energy added to a system as heat equals the increase in entropy. 
b. Energy added to a system as heat cannot be converted entirely to work. 
c. Energy added to a system as heat equals the heat given up to the surroundings. 
d. Energy added to a system as heat is entirely converted to work. 

2.) Your room is a mess, you're swamped with assignments, and you have a job to juggle on top of everything else. On top of this, you just got into an argument with a close friend. This is an example of entropy.
