Net neutrality is a principle that advocates for the unrestricted use of the internet. It calls
for all the internet service providers to provide access to all the data on the internet. The principle
ensures that the network providers are unable to guide or prevent access to some data.Net
neutrality principle gives limited rights to the internet providers where there cannot now be able
to slow down, block or charge any amount to access some information of website (Hahn, 2006).
Currently, the net neutrality principle is one of the most controversial ideas presented .the
controversy arise from the government and other interested parties view the internet as the source
of all crimes witnessed in the young person. For this reason, they believe that some sites should
be restricted to only a certain age of a person. Also, the government views the paid site as
making the internet usage expensive and lacking uniformity whereby some persons may be
discriminated on getting some information due to the economic ability. (Padmaja, 2017). The
above view has gained adverse opposition from both the opposition and some residents who
view the government should separate itself from the net neutrality controversy. Many consider
the government intervention in the matter will make it more complicated and which in the end
will be of great harm than benefits. According to the peoples view net neutrality will allow more
and free communication online (Musacchio, 2009). Blocking some sites will have adverse effects
in that some useful contents will be unavailable this, in turn, will result in discrimination in the
