Women’s concerns are issues that engage women attention, care, interest, and also affect
their welfare. To address emerging issues and trends in regards to women concerns, some
women movements and organizations like feminism have been formed to champion for women
rights. For purposes of this research paper, the focus will be on women’s welfare in Germany.
Below are examples of women’s concerns in Germany;
Domestic Violence
Women in Germany face serious problems gender violence. According to the report
released by Federal Criminal Police Office, over one hundred thousand women are still faced
with domestic violence. The violence committed against women is majorly carried out by men
and in some cases result in serious injuries. The situation is at times worse when violence is
committed against the children, by their fathers who are supposed to give them care and
protection. Children witnessing such problems are faced with serious risks of getting maternal
care and may grow knowing violence against women is justifiable more so if no action is taken
against errant fathers. Further, domestic violence against women may affect children emotional,
physical, and intellectual development. To address such problems, Germany has put
comprehensive measures in place to protect women and their children from any form abuse. This
