followers. Its main teaching is a faith which focuses on the truth. It is a culture practiced in more
than one hundred and fifty countries. The teachings revolve around Jesus Christ. Christianity,
especially in modern days, focuses on saving the society from the worldly situations. Christianity
teaches about One God in the Trinity. Its holy Book is Bible that is divided into new and old
testaments. The Old Testament talks about God the Father while the New Testament includes
God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. It has many denominations followed by different believers
in the process.
Buddhism started about 2.5 millenniums ago. It has more than three hundred followers in
the world today. It is practiced more in Asian countries than other parts of the world. It teaches
people the philosophical way of life. It focuses on love and wisdom in the society. Buddha
philosophical teachings focus on leading a moral life, to understand and aware of the actions or
thoughts and developing wisdom in living with people in the society. Buddhism started in the
north of India. Its main aim is achieving a state of lasting and enlighten in the society. Its
teachings also focus on achieving the lasting values in the world that is not permanent. It also
brings together compassion and wisdom. This is why Buddhism is referred as philosophical
