In the case study, Red Carpet has acquired accompany, and with the acquisition, a
change will occur in the organisation that will determine whether the acquisition will be
successful or not. The type of change and the process under it will decide which employees
will be affected following the acquisition and will ensure that the organisation manages to
push any challenges that may be seen after the disorder.
The type of change which will be applicable in the given situation involving Red
Carpet will have to be transitional change. The transitional change will be highly suitable in
the given case since Red Carpet Company is undergoing a restructuring following an
acquisition. The organisation will involve the replacement of processes which existed before
