Teamwork is an important aspect when it comes to carrying out duties in any
organization. It enhances efficiency among the team members hence boosting productivity. This
is an aspect that every firm in the contemporary society is trying to instill among its employees
because a company whose employees work as a group and in teams tend to be more productive
than those who do not embrace the aspect of working as a group and in teams. To work in groups
and teams, however, is not an easy task. This is because the effectiveness of any group depends
to a larger extent on the ability of the team members to belong to the team, relate well with other
members and take their roles with the seriousness which is required. This paper, therefore, will
explore the given questions from the self-assessment.
I agree with my results. This is because I have been a frequent participant in teamwork
where I have been working with other people as a group or as a team. It is something that I
developed interest since I was young and from then I knew without any reasonable doubt that I
possess the skills and qualities of a good team member. I remember when I was in high school,
we could work as a team to accomplish many tasks assigned to us by the teachers and I used to
