modern technology. One type of information system that is mostly used in various organizations
is Facebook. It entails sharing of information as well as photos of people around the world. In
fact, according to reports, almost 1 billion people have subscribed to the use of Facebook as a
tool of the information system. One characteristic of the users are people who want to connect
with each other for various reasons. However, the organization usually uses it as a platform for
advertising their products as well as their services. Cleveland violence in agreement with the
ethical code and principles, Facebook as social networking has no power to control the intensity
that is always being displayed there. Facebook was created as an information system that has
several features. First, a user has to create an account in which he/she will supposed to fill in the
details. The next step is to verify the information for security purposes. This will indicate that
the user will be the one to access that account. With such credentials, it is difficult for a third
party to access that Facebook account. Another feature is the sending of personal information.

Facebook can be proactive and thorough with the reviews of the types of content
that appear on their cites by abiding by a code of conduct. Facebook provides high security to
protect its users and their data while using their site. There is secure browsing, Encryption of
messages and post that are implemented to prevent other users access unless they have
permission. Facebook sets a priority in eliminating spam, contacting people with undesired data.
There are steps to secure the Facebook account. Proposals are made such as changing the current
password, reaching the help center if the account has been hacked and sending alerts to inform
when someone is attempting to log in from an unrecognized device or web browser.
The signals provide information on the device being used to attempt logging in as well
location. Proactively, the policies of Facebook advice users of the things not allowed which
include pornography or nudity; hate speech, credible threats or attacks on individuals or groups,
the content of excessive violence and deceptive profiles (“Community standards Facebook,”
2017). Facebook must publicly provide their statement of rights and responsibilities. These
include their terms and conditions of their site. These will notify the user, and if he/she doesn't
follow their follow their guidelines and rules, violation of the statement of rights will possibly
lead to the deletion of the user's account (“Terms of Service,” 2017). By setting these rules, it
will discipline its users by being moral right in everything someone is posting or sharing on
Facebook. Also, it would lead to being the first social media that fights violence as compared
with the other social media which encourage by just letting its users share things which aren’t
morally right.

Preventing that Facebook and other social media platforms should put into place to stop
acts of violence from being broadcasted should consider continual monitoring of the information
displayed. This can be done through the installation of software to detect and deletion of
activities associated with violence. This modern day's people have come up with innovations that
make things easier to know what is happening to the world. Applications are being made
especially for mobile phones to access Facebook and other social media. This also increases the
rise of violence being posted on Facebook. Facebook help team should come up with ideas
together with information technology team on how to curb this abuse. They should come up with
antivirus which will be crushing phone whenever someone tries to post such information and
also anyone who would want to share. These will reduce the number of violence and nudity to
reduce because would fear their phones or computers to crush.
The government ownership should be encouraged to prevent access to violence (“It’s

2017). The government is responsible for the security of its people. Facebook should work with
the government of each country to promote peace and security. Facebook should create a
government portal on their home page. This will enable the authorities to monitor the usage and
the content that is displayed on Facebook. Additionally, this will help those users who are in
danger because the helpline will always be displayed on the homepage. People will also be
scared to post such things because they will be afraid of being arrested. The government should
set out rules that whenever caught being posting such things you will be prosecuted and jailed.
This punishment should go along with fines that someone would pay. Removal of graphic image
shared to promote violence should be included in the monitoring process (“Community

Ethics Officer or Oversight Committee
Through the research, there is an Oversight Committee for Facebook. This committee
represents the interest of the Facebook community and provides the ethics law and guidelines for
rules of the Facebook. The reason for the oversight committee is to enforce the ethics law and
