Graphical User Interfaces (GUI)

Question Description

I’m studying for my class and need an explanation.

  • You can easily and quickly deploy applications via a GUI interface and push
via a browser. Historically, many solutions required the application to be
installed locally on the computer. But today, with the client being GUI,
applications can be accessed and utilized via a Web browser, thus making remote
access more efficient. Describe the implications of this capability for the
    human-machine interface.

  • Windows GUI typically excels over command line interface (CLI) owing to its
ease of use and short learning curve. In your role as a user advocate, identify
and describe one way in which CLI excels compared to GUI, and explain whether or
not those features are available in a GUI.
