In this case, Kim's behavior towards Joe is unacceptable since it ends up bothering Kim
himself. As colleagues who require each other’s help for the successful operation of the
company, Joe feels that Kim is irritated and dismissive every time Joe tries to talk with the aim
of learning more about the business. Additionally, Kim's interactions with Joe's staffs represent
actions of someone who has a problem with Joe. Joe feels that "Kim is often very gruffly with
Joe's staffs as well as causing them feel hurt and confused." In this scenario, therefore, based on
the window on behavior, Joe owns the problem. Joe observes behaviors from Kim that are
unacceptable to him and bothers him as well.
Undeniably, Joe feels that Kim is indirectly attacking him during their meetings by
making a subtle statement such as “supervisors these days like to coddle their employees and do
all that touchy-feely stuff." Joe assumes that since he is among the supervisors pursuing a college
