The peer-peer cyberbullying in teenage is the social problem that I plan to investigate.
Cyberbullying among the teenagers has turned out to be a major problem due to the increased
utilization of social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Google + etc. by the teenagers. In
the current society, it is evident that there is the utilization of communication technology by the
teenagers to harm or harass others deliberately in a repetitive & hostile way. This mainly happens
through sharing of texts via email, mobile, WhatsApp, Facebook etc.
The two sub-disciplines of psychology that I have selected for the analysis of this social
problems are violence and exploitation. These two sub-disciplines are relevant because both
violence and exploitation have a harming or harassing impact on the teenagers. Additionally, cases
of teenagers being exploited by the adults are rampant globally.
