In this course, you will write a major integrative research paper with an applied focus. You will investigate the literature in two different sub-disciplines of psychology (e.g., biopsychology and social psychology), integrate the literature these two disciplines, and use knowledge gained from this analysis to propose either: 1) an evidence-based program that addresses a pressing social problem or 2) an applied research project that addresses a pressing social problem. General Information шсъс спасшеѕ. You will use this draft to give a brief, informal presentatio which you share the highlights of your idea proposal with your classmates and solicit their feedback. You will then use your classmates' and my feedback to revise your idea proposal and submit it to Canvas by class time the following week. Create one file that includes all of your idea proposal content (see below) and unload this file to the Idea Proposal assignment link in the Research Paper section o Your idea proposal may be divided into sections with headings, but the body of it must be written in complete sentences. Content of the Idea Proposal • Describe your topic of interest as follows: o Identify the social problem that you plan to investigate and provide some evidence that it is currently a pressing problem in society. Specify which two sub-disciplines of psychology you have selected to inform your analysis of this social problem and why these two sub-disciplines are relevant. Describe the historical roots of your selected topic as far back in psychology as possible. This will be preliminary at this point; it will take time to explore the historical roots of your topic area thoroughly. You may find the History of Psychology Resources module in Canvas useful for this part of your proposal. Specify whether you lean toward proposing an evidence-based social program or an applied research study and explain why. o Define any technical topic-related terms, as necessary, throughout your proposal. Describe why it is important to analyze and address your selected topic/social problem. Describe why you are personally interested in this topic. You must also include at least 1 abstract of a scholarly source addressing the historical roots of your topic in psychology, at least 2 abstracts of topic-relevant sources from your selected sub-discipline A, and at least 2 abstracts of topic-relevant sources from your selected sub-discipline B. Note that you must submit at least 5 abstracts in total, and all abstracts should be in detailed-record format. Clearly label your historical, sub-discipline A, and sub-discipline B abstracts. If one source could fit into more than one of these 3 categories (history, A, and B), then indicate this in your labeling. In searching for your history source(s), try to trace your selected topic as far back in the discipline of psychology as you can. Can you find the originating theorist or thinker in your topic area? Can you trace the idea even further back into the history of psychology?

utilization of social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Google + etc. by the teenagers. In
the current society, it is evident that there is the utilization of communication technology by the
teenagers to harm or harass others deliberately in a repetitive & hostile way. This mainly happens
through sharing of texts via email, mobile, WhatsApp, Facebook etc.
The two sub-disciplines of psychology that I have selected for the analysis of this social
problems are violence and exploitation. These two sub-disciplines are relevant because both
violence and exploitation have a harming or harassing impact on the teenagers. Additionally, cases
of teenagers being exploited by the adults are rampant globally.
Advancement in technology is the historical root of peer-peer cyberbullying in teens. Vital
advancements, for example, the Internet, have perpetually changed the interaction among the
