Various approaches are used in organizational management that were developed by
different scholars at a different time and aimed at improving the operation of an organization.
Among this approaches, one of the approaches that are used in various organizations is the
scientific management approach. The approach of scientific management was developed around
late 19th century by Fredrick Taylor. It is an approach that aims at improving the working
efficiency in an organization to achieve specialization, simplification, standardization as well as
the entire efficiency in the specific organization. Also, the approach aims at increasing the
organization's productivity by creating mutual trust among the management as well as its
workers. Taylor focused on improving the trust level in line with the productivity level
improvement going to the workers (Waring, 2016). With this, he focused on the elimination of
anxiety as well as physical stress via workers training and getting rid of a concept that is
traditional of "boss."
The approach has for guiding principles where the first principle relates to the
development of a science that is true to everyone’s work. The second principle is that the
worker's selection in an organization should be scientific. This depicts that workers of a certain
