Introduction
Dementia is a general term used in describing a combination of various symptoms for
diseases such as confusion, memory loss and changes in personality. However, the most common
source of dementia is the Alzheimer’s disease- one in every eight persons aged above 65 years in
the U.S. and about half of those aged 85 and above has this disease (Friedman, Shih, Langa, &
