See how he sits, his hand touching his chin, this is usually everyone's reaction when he is thinking, or something that makes him frustrated. It is a stone sculpture, but I can feel his inner movement, I can still see his mind is very active, his head is still moving, his body is not moving. If I continue to look at this piece of art, I can see how the thinker generates a lot of profound thoughts in his mind, and this response is the reflection of his face. 2-Artist name: Leonardo da Vinci Title of work: The Last Supper Date of completion: 1498 The last supper basically is the last meal that shared by Jesus with his disciples before his capture and death. This painting shows a representation of the celestial zodiac signs. Also, the only female in the painting is the Virgo, which is known as (Mary Magdalene) it also makes a trinity, which means that human’s attraction to God. More than that, I can see how disciples are grouped by four seasons and Jesus is in the middle of them, which he is the son. I picked this painting because I remember that I had the same painting hanging in my room while I was young and every time and look at it, I can see that disciples are looking worried. The third disciple on the left raised his hand to make the viewer feel innocent. 3-Artist name: Raffaello Sanzio (Raphael) Title of work: The Sistine Madonna Medium: Oil painting on canvas Date of completion: 1514 Dimensions: 265 cm × 196 cm In this painting, Raphael was able to create a deep depth in his painting which I can see that he makes Madonna appears in the past in the painting that it looks realistic and naturalistic. I also believe that the color that he used in this painting helped him to make the painting look shiny and accurate. By observing the performance of the painful reaction of the mother and the child, this is the side of death. I personally see this painting in one of the churches but with different materials of work. Also, the two little angels lie on their elbows and look at them, making me feel how dignified the Sistine Madonna is. The background of the painting is full of clouds It fills almost every infinite space in the painting. 4-Artist name: Paolo Veronese Title of work: The Wedding Feast at Cana Medium: Oil painting on canvas Date of completion: 1563 I picked this painting just because of how large this painting is with too many details inside it. By looking further at this painting, I can see a huge tower and there are some birds flying over this tower and some of these birds are flying to the left which I can see that makes the painting more natural. In the center of this painting, I can see Jesus sitting in the middle and he is the only one that looks at the viewer. When I looked at the bottom right, I remembered the Bible story that everyone knows as the miracle Jesus performed at the wedding at Cana. In this painting, I can say that religious symbolism is taking priority over the formal meal practice. This picture is more religious, thank you I thought one of the religious paintings that I liked
