Overall Rating: This week I learned how important it is to have a strategy. Meeting with my group, We took consideration of everyones school schedule and work schedules and worked around that. We stayed in ccontact non stop. While doing the simulation i was able to ask my team for a little guidance and they didn't hesitate to help out. In working with my were able to talk about our group decision we took the team members highest individual decision and asked questions on how they reached high rankings then we made our decision together. This week I learned to go more in depth with being a team player. Myself and my group was able to pick determine our schedules and when we would meet, as well as taking each others numbers to actively communicate as a whole. Overall Rating: • Explain one thing you have learned about strategy this week.- One thing i learned was the importance of strategy. In any aspect of business strategy is important because you need a plan to on how you expect to achieve your goals. If you plan on running a successful business you need a game plan how you can out perform your competitors and how you can stay on top. When it comes to the global challenge its also important to have a strategy because every team will be trying to find ways to produce the most revenue but if you strategize properly you can stand out amongst your competition. • Explain one way you have learned to add value this week. - I learned to add value by making sure that I can contribute to my team. Having team members with different skill sets adds value because everyone has something unique to bring to the table to create a great team. Explain one thing you have learned about strategy this week. I learned that in order to achieve a functional strategy, you need to gain clarity which means identifying your goals, mission, and vision. Explain one way you have learned to add value this week. i learned this week that in order to effectively add value, you need to find out your role. If you are a leader, you need to act as one. If you are a researcher you need to do more research. Everyone should be clear about their role to deliver the best value.
