Part A
Human beings experience different growth and development stages that are associated
with the life cycle group of each person. There are normally eight age groups at different stages
with different characteristics. Tasks performed and activities played are differentiated from one
group to another. Every human being undergoes the first age stage, and that is the infant stage as
they grow and develop, they reach the development stage of trusts vs mistrusts. The purpose of
this stages is to provide individuals bonding and provision of attachment in the society.
Autonomy vs Shame is the other age group of individual early childhood at the
development stages where doubt is a major concern in their decision making. The most
important task undertaken in this age group is self-maintenance and practice of potty training for
developmental task presented in life by different life circumstances. As development and growth
take place a human being attains another age group of schooling that involves various activities
and in particular taking part in academic activities. The major development in this level is
initiative and guilt (McCammon, 2010). Other activities that are experienced in this stage include
social competency, making new friends and growing the already existing relationship.
