ACTIONS THAT RAJAH SHOULD TAKE CONCERNING concerning NEW ONECENT-IN-CHANGE POLICY
The workplace should be accorded with a lot of respect since one has to ensure that he or she
safeguards his job. Employers or employees on high ranks delegates responsibilities to juniors.
Regarding to the context above, Rajah has to obey his senior boss Laureen.
Firstly, Rajah should be humble and listen to Laureen since she is senior in the organization.
Also, he should explain to her the dangers of using such policy as it shuns away customers.
Secondly, Rajah should research about the use of same policy in other areas before putting it in
place, for instance, effects on sales, customer’s comments and the change in profit margins
before applying it.
RAJAH’S ACTIONS OVER EMPLOYER
Although job opportunities are scarce, Rajah should not hesitate in saying what he thinks best
about the use of such policy. Having done marketing as a degree instead should come up with
other marketing strategies on how to improve profit margins. It is against the ethics of work to
exploit customers, and therefore, Rajah should shun away from practicing. It is better to suffer
for telling the truth as it shows integrity.
OPINION OF USE OF ONE-CENT POLICY
One cent policy does not work best for the company since it’s a sign of being a con. It might
increase the profit margins in short run while in long-term the company can run into losses this is
because of the following;
