Introduction
The current baby products market has not yet provided a solution to the fact that mothers
need to bond with their children all the time and more specifically during the evenings and the
cold season. The available baby carriers in the market do not meet the need of ensuring that the
mother and child are warm and at the same time close to each other. They instead provide
carriage but leave both the mother and child exposed to the cold. This paper aims at setting a
price for a new to the world consumer product that will address the various gaps existing in the
market.
Product description
The new product name is Voolex baby carrier specifically for the cold seasons or cold
evenings as well. This product will be unique as it will cater for the needs of both the mother and
the child in that it will be designed as a jumper the mother can wear normally with an allowance
at the front for the baby that will also be a jumper design. The design will have a zipper that will
act as a connection point between the mother and baby during breastfeeding time so that the
mother does not have to entirely take it off before breast feeding. Voolex will be designed in
subtle colors as opposed to those that are elaborate to create a cool and relaxed environment for
both the mother and baby.
