1) In terms of “subjects,” what common elements do you see among the various
researchers’ experiments?
Regarding “subjects” most researchers are not interested in the welfare, the right to the
privacy of the participants. For example, Dr. Sims who operated on women suffering from
vaginal fistula did not care about the health of the women as long as he successfully did
operations on them to gain fame. He, therefore, kept performing surgery even after thirty
operations failed. It is unethical to experiment on human beings, but unfortunately, that is what
happens with most researchers (Forrestal & Cellucci, 2016). Doctors will give a particular drug
