The comparison between Japanese anime and American comics has been going on for a
very long time. Both of these arts have been relevant in the entertainment industry but have
minor differences between them. As much this class of entertainment was meant to keep kids
smiling in both countries, there are also enjoyable adult ones hence their importance in the
general society. Both countries have experienced a lot of changes in animation perfection area
with the animations and cartoons applying social-themed storylines, and narrative techniques.
They stopped being funny little drawings and turned into things that could pass information
(Bestor, Bestor & Yamagata, 233). For anime and cartoons fans, the distinctive visual feature is
the only difference between anime and cartoon but some people don’t even think about it.
The love for anime and cartoons depends on a person’s preferences, there were days that
