Introduction
The health sector is an area that requires a high level of concern. It plays a crucial role in
ensuring that people lead healthy and happy lives. Physicians and nurses work under policies and
guidelines that are set up by the legal authorities. These legislations are crucial in the current
world because people may take advantage of information technology advancements and misuse
it in the health industry.
Importance of Legislation in the Health IT Policies
Privacy, this law was enacted in 1974 to regulate the data, which is collected by
government and its agencies. This law allows a citizen to be aware of the information, which is
obtained from them, its clarity and citizens are also provided with copies of the data. The
