Introduction
Though groups and teams are treated similarly, there are some factors which make them
appear differently. Groups and teams work towards achieving a common goal and purpose. The
only main difference between the two is that, teams are accountable for the expected outcome but
groups focus more on the areas of individual accountability. Moreover, groups are made of one
leader whereas teams are made up of more than one leader (Foster, 1995).
