Introduction
The two theories explain ‘what persons are, and what is involved in a person's continued
existence over time’ (Parfit, 1). The shared question of the two theories is ‘What is a person?’

(Parfit, 4) I am not a series of events, but a person. A Bundle Theorist admits this fact but claims
it to be only a fact about our grammar, or o...
