Notes
1. In the recent past, there has been a lot of debate regarding LGBT community. According
to Kyung-Hee Choi, Chong-suk, and George (2011), the debate has increased fear of
association and integration among the members of the group.
2. It is essential to establish the cause of the heated debate and developments surrounding
LGBTQ society. The social-cultural diversity and modernization have greatly increased
the group's affairs.
3. While the United States advocate for equality and fairness, it is apparent that a significant
number of members of the society distance themselves from the members of the LGBT
bringing loneliness and sometimes humiliation. Nonetheless, the members of LGBT are
never intimidated or become fainthearted but they push on with their agendas.
4. Various states have different views regarding non-discriminatory laws and the minority
experience harsh conditions.
5. With the increased stigma and discrimination, a lot of people in the minority communities
face negative health outcomes. Different states should ensure good health for their locals
especially due to stigmatization for the association with LGBTQ community.
6. Although there exist very little documentation on how the LGBTQ manage the
discrimination, it is apparent some members have established means to manage their
homophobia and racial disparity experiences.
7. The open disclosure of being a member of the LGBTQ community causes loss of jobs in
some companies

10. In the companies that employ LGBT friendly policies, the members are able to take up
top positions that are unlikely in the companies which undermine such members of the
society.
11. Discussing on LGBTQ communities, it is important to evaluate any of the achievements
made within the current presidency. While President Obama is seen to have impacted a
lot to the recognition of the group, the Trump's initial sentiments seem to obscure the
process of liberation and elimination of discrimination among the Americans.
12. The involvement in the LGBTQ activities is in some instances viewed as immoral.
However, the practice has been legalized in the country and that the members of the
society should embrace the group.
