1. What were some of the obvious differences between the settlement of Massachusetts
and the settlement of Pennsylvania?
Historians can trace back the issue of settlement based on three major colonies namely;
the southern, the middle and the northern colonies. The settlement patterns were influenced by
aspects such as social issues, politics, economics, and religion. For this essay, the differences
between the settlement of Massachusetts and the settlement of Pennsylvania will be briefly
